From 2021 to 2022, Advance Institute of Business took on a contract with Registered Training Organisation IVET to help clear a backlog of assessments in the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and to do general compliance work required to satisfy government regulations.
The clients were mainly secondary school teachers who used their teaching degree to satisfy many parts of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This involved a lengthy process of recognition of prior learning, with additional online training to fill in the gaps that the degrees didn’t satisfy.
These teachers then became qualified to teach accredited certificates and diplomas in high schools as part of various state governments’ VET in Schools programs.
The VET in Schools program allows high school students to gain nationally recognised vocational qualifications as part of their secondary school education.
This was just one of many Registered Training Organisations that Advance Institute of Business have provided services for in Australia and China.
